Bicycles are at your complete disposal for the duration of your stay, and you can use them at your leisure on the farm.

A 25-minute drive away is the Golf Nazionale, the official club of the Italian Golf Federation. Fans of this wonderful sport will enjoy one of the most beautiful facilities in Lazio.

Near the farm there are a number of riding stables where you can take a lesson for beginners or beautiful rides for the more experienced, with the possibility of discovering the beautiful hills of Tuscia.

Choose to take a sailing lesson on Lake Bracciano, just a 15-minute drive from Palombaio.  You can sail from Bracciano or Trevignano, depending on how the wind blows.  You will have a unique experience in the hands of trusted sailing clubs.  Good wind!

In just 26 minutes by car, from Palombaio you can reach a beautiful beach on the Roman coastline, under a Saracen castle overlooking the sea. Not only leisure and relaxation, but also culture; after a day at the beach, a visit to the Odescalchi castle is a must.

There is a tennis club close to the farm. You can practise with friends while having fun and staying in shape.

The mountains around Palombaio are home to truffle oaks, which makes the area rich in truffles, both in winter and summer. We organise excursions in search of the precious truffles, with the fly method or with the help of dogs.

As Lake Bracciano is of volcanic origin, the surrounding area has numerous sources of sulphurous waters, presenting a variety of establishments, such as the Terme di Stignano, but also free spas. The hyperthermal sulphurous-iodine waters of the thermal baths usually have a temperature between 30 and 38 °C, making the experience pleasant especially in winter, spring and autumn.  These waters have healing properties on the skin, and alleviate various muscle and joint ailments.  Ask for more information if you are interested in a relaxing experience that is beneficial to mind and body.

You can walk around the farm or visit the surroundings by trekking in the Tolfa mountains or under the beautiful Sasso cliffs, where you can also see expert climbers.
